Getting Around

Paying for parking is a breeze on 4th Street! You can pay online with the My Parking App or virtual pay machine, or cover your parking on-site via pay machines located throughout the area.
There are also a number of parking lots in the area - including the Missao Parcade and APC Surface lot - which can be found on the Impark website.
Need Bicycle Parking? Thanks to Calgary’s Bike Rack program, there are plenty of short-term spots throughout 4th street where you can safely leave your bike - all you need is a bike, a u-lock and a key. However, these are not intended for overnight use.
First time in Cowtown? Visit the Calgary Parking website to find out more about signage, accessible parking and tips on how to avoid parking tickets.

Did you know the City of Calgary has the most extensive bikeway network in North America? Well, it’s true, and travelling via bike has never been easier thanks to our more than 1,000kms of regional pathways and 96kms of trails.
These multi-use pathways are ideal for walking, running, skating or cycling - whichever way you prefer to get from A to B, the city’s infrastructure is designed to let you enjoy your commute safely and with as little risk as possible. There are also dedicated wheeling lanes, cycle tracks and bike lines which were designed with existing traffic flows in mind in order to streamline your cycling experience. View Bike Lanes

4th Street is just a hop, skip and a jump from Calgary’s popular Light Rail Transit (LRT) or 'C-Train', which provides access to downtown (where a ‘free-fare zone’ between 3rd Street East and 11th Street West along 7 Avenue allows commuters to travel without spending a single cent. The LRT also travels both north and south of the city, and customers are expected to have ‘proof of payment’ on their person at all times.

Looking for a fun way to get to your destination? The City of Calgary has given permits to two companies - Neuron and Bird - which provide safe, speed-limited E-Bikes and E-Scooters for visitors and Calgarians alike.
You won’t have to look hard to find an E-Bike or E-Scooter on 4th Street, but download each company’s apps for updated maps of available transportation.
